A public judging event is held each year at the National Rose Trial Garden within the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide - members of the general public are encouraged to visit the Trial Gardens to cast their votes for their most favoured roses and view those new roses most likely to be released in the coming seasons. 

These results provide an excellent insight for rose breeders, rose growers and retailers as to those types of roses which are most popular to the public.

Shyrell of Taperoo - winner of the 2013 Public Judging Award. Shyrell selected the top 5 most popular roses within the Trial Garden as voted by the public.
